Blog nr. 6 way to long ago

So sorry that it has been a while haha. But I did not have the time to write earlier or let I say it this way, I did prioritise it before. Because a lot has happened since last time.

First GetFocused. Get Focused is a Christian Youthfestival, it’s a sort EO-youthday combined with Soul Survivor. It was good, but also very frustrating. It was so much fun being with people and hanging out with DTS but, the communication with the organisation was not really good. Luckily we survived and everything turned out alright.

Than we had a teamweek in Skien. We helped babysitting in a church, with an international dinner, handing out free chocolate and coffee, watching movies and much, much more. So that was just a relaxed week with a lot of fun activities.

The week after that we went to Arrendal. We visited different Youthnights where we shared some testimonies and participated in different activities. But, we also had enough time to explore Arrendal and have fun together. I really have noticed that we grew more to each other as a small team (the other half of the DTS was on a boardingschool). In the beginning of the week we got to know a girl who stayed with us the rest of the week. And in the end she said that this was just what she needed and that she really saw Gods hand in this.

It has been a really cool week where we got to know a lot of people and got to encourage a lot of people. There was also a man who had a bad experience with YWAM and now he was really touched by how we shared the gospel. It was super nice to hear.

Than we had teachings again. This time it was about the Holy Spirit. This was an awesome week, but because I already know and practiced a lot about this it was hard sometimes to stay focused on the subject. The practical part was super cool. We got to prophecy and bless each other which was awesome.

In this week we also had a gingerbreadhouse competition. This was cool! The house that the team made were I was part of got a shared third place. (out of the four places that were there) But, we were the only house with a curved wall XD

Last weekend Desiree and Sathya came by which was super fun! It was so good to see them again and to show them where I live and to just talk Dutch and see familiar faces haha 😊

This week we are talking about worldview. It is kinda hard to follow this all the time. It is a difficult subject to learn but also to teach I notice. It is good to learn it, but I am curious about the upcoming two days.

Meike and I made a prayer wall in our room so we can pray for eacht others praypoints and some specific things which is awesome. We also got Christmas lights and adventcalender. It is getting nicer and nicer XD.

I also did some kickboxing last week which was super good 😊 Furthermore, this week we say goodbye to the DBS ☹ The DBS is the Bibleschool of three months. I am gonna miss them so much, but I am also looking foreward to see what they will do and for the students of the Januari DTS!

Tomorrow Stephanie and Petra! I am so excited to see them! And next week I am going to Polen on the Staff-trip! It is gonna be epic! (I hope XD)
